Justin is served by the Northwest Independent School District, one of the largest and wealthiest school systems in the state. Northwest ISD (NISD) is one of the fastest growing school districts in the state and attracts more than 1,400 new students each year. NISD spans 234 square miles and serves 14 communities in parts of three counties. The district operates two comprehensive high schools, an accelerated high school, five middle schools, 17 elementary schools, a special programs center and a community-based youth residential program. There are three elementary schools, W. R. Hatfield Elementary, Clara Love Elementary and Justin Elementary in addition to Pike Middle School and Northwest High School.

Located within easy driving distance from several major universities, offering undergraduate and master degree programs in a variety of disciplines. Additionally, there are community colleges and technical schools that offer associate degrees.
