With the growth and change happening in Justin, we have a wealth of opportunity and location options that are especially focused on retail type establishments and amenities. Here are a few of the major properties available, and for more information, please contact Abbey Reece, Assistant to the City Manager | EDC Liaison at 940-648-2541 Ext. 11.
SWC FM 156 & John Wiley
General-business zoned retail development at the planned intersection of FM 156 with FM 1171 (which will include an above-grade railway crossing). A short few minutes from I-35W, this property will serve as the retail hub for the southern end of Justin. Adequate space allocated for a grocery-anchored retail development, and the City has pre-approved incentives related to impact fees on this property.
S. FM 156 +/- 1-Acre Lots
FM 156 frontage lots of approximately one-acre each, this corridor is ideal for restaurants and other retail. A connector road running north-south on the western property line of these properties will be constructed by early 2020. Properties are bordered on the west by a potential mixed use property and future municipal buildings.
S. FM 156 Proposed Mixed Use/Commercial
Just off of FM 156, this commercial property is prime for a mixed-use development. Bordered on the south side by a 300-unit multifamily project, and on the north by municipal-owned property, the City of Justin is excited to work with a developer to master plan this area.
SEC FM 407 & Boss Range
These properties, zoned local retail, are ideal for neighborhood services and light retail. Currently near the western boundary of Justin, significant residential development is planned in this area.
NEC FM 407 & Boss Range
Local retail property adjacent to an existing successful grocery store. Significant future residential growth planned for this area.
FM 156 & 12th St
(Proposed Future FM 407 Alignment)
The intersection of 12th Street and FM 407 is the most likely location for the future realignment of FM 407 through Justin. This connection will include an above-grade crossing with access back to FM 156 north or south. Split zoning of commercial and residential, and the City is ready to work with an applicant on a development plan.
